There is something very special about interacting with a horse. Horses possess empathy, insight and wisdom and are willing to give it freely and generously.
Horses have the unique ability of being able to pick up on our energy levels, body language and emotional state and allow us to learn far more about ourselves than we’ve ever thought possible.
Based on the Equine Psychotherapy Institute of Australia (EPI) model, our Equine sessions help clients to understand and become more aware of themselves, how their body is reacting to their thoughts, and identify ways of thinking that may not serve them well anymore.
We work on self-awareness, relaxation, boundaries, communication and relationships. Our sessions are available for anyone who would like to take positive steps in improving their everyday life and are especially helpful for individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, and/or numerous other psychological issues.
Through distinctive equine interactions, unique connections between the individual and the totally non-judgmental horse occur. The results of these interactions allow us to identify small and achievable goals which can have a positive impact on one’s life moving forward.
Our work is mostly conducted securely on the ground with the horses either at liberty (free) or with a halter on. No previous horse experience needed.
